They did, but it was the same techniques. It predated all the colour recovery work that allowed for the newer restorations. Terror of the Autons was a compete ground-up restoration for Blu-ray
Possibly not! It may be the proper filter was used on those, or a some problem yielding a result that’s no better than the existing Ep 1 and 3 colour restoration.
I was just thinking of Mind 1, where they couldn't pull the colour information and had to do it by hand. Obviously they can fall back on the off-air tapes for this one so it's not such a big deal if that's the case.
