They bonded a bit when they were kids before Mute got washed away by the storm but after that Mute had to struggle living on his own for 10 years

How far into that time on his own was he bitten?

Mute was 12 when he got..washed on Paria Island (basically an island of dreams and wishes and fantasy) and he was unable to talk due to the island’s punishment of outsiders.

He was founded by Echo eventually ( @venusnoir.bsky.social ‘s oc) and she was the one who named him Mute
