Duke is tracking to be the second- or third-best team in the history of KenPom. I don't think it winds up there, and I wouldn't even pick Duke to win it all if we started the bracket today. That said, it's not hyperbolic. This team is just tearing through its schedule for the most part.

For the most part? I love your work (for the most part). See what I did there? I enjoy data, but Kenpom is far from perfect. Feels a bit hyperbolic based off a big win over a spiraling team on a neutral that favors Duke. I know you’re deeper in this than I so, If you’re right, I’ll tip my cap.

I dunno about that last bit - it’s hard to see Duke winning the ACC Tournament without facing a team that been one of the top 15 or so teams in the country since January 1.

CBB writers seriously need to chill. The SEC isn’t the best league in history. Duke and Auburn aren’t all time programs. Two of the top three draft picks are a couple of kids from a Rutgers team that’s gonna miss the tournament entirely. Just enjoy it for what it is, another fun year.
