Figured I’d hop on here today for the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

With everything going on right now, it’s easy to feel like regular folks can’t make a difference – but the ACA is a reminder that change is possible when we fight for progress.

Yeah cool, the ACA was split up to be managed by states this year in a move I did not see covered- in it, my children no longer are covered.

So yeah, good things were compromised a decade ago and we didn’t secure those compromises- be grateful?

It’s even funnier in his case because he played a huge part in creating “everything that’s going on right now” He had 2 million energized and mobilized volunteers and he essentially disbanded them after winning in 2008, thinking he alone could technocrat his way into a better world

He could have had an army of mobilized and dedicated progressives doing grassroots shit all over the country, building a real movement. But he ceded all that to the republicans and the tea party and we see how that turned out.
