Finished reading The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie. It was... not very good. First 2/3's was an oppressively mundane slog and while after that it did significantly improve it was not to an extraordinary degree. I'd like to give it a pass by acknowledging I'm not a fan the grimdark genre, but-
