And if I keep only doing 6k a year it'll be another 7 years before it cracks the 100!

And 2000 of that 6k was just my Scotland trip so probably less than that on average

Right in the sweet spot! And only using it once or twice a week and keeping on top of the maintenance and cleaning I'm hoping I can keep it nice for a long time despite not having a garage

We did also find a bit of corrosion forming on the lower front impact bars that run alongside the engine, so need to get that brushed back and protected too but overall after 5k miles in my ownership so far it's done me proud!

That's not too bad at all! Bit of a scrub up, some rust converter and a respray and that'll be ready for another 5k! Always nice to catch this stuff early. 🙂

Certainly! I would love to try and take it on myself but it's such an inaccessible bit I think I might need to farm it out so it's done properly by someone with a lift. Was great to see underneath the car today to see how well the factory underseal is holding up, this was the only brown!
