@futurebird I visited the Museum of Musical Instruments in Brussels last summer. They had a display of classic synthesizers and, I agree. Looking at those was really something amazing. I very much wanted to touch them. https://www.mim.be/en

@futurebird That's an analog synthesizer, using circuits and filters and such...digital synths definitely sound different (less warm, people say). Vangelis and Wendy Carlos (among others) basically invented electronic music on analog synths in the 70s and...I've listened to a lot of it.
