Besides, the trans community can be their own worst enemy. I want to respect them but there are some whose actions give me a reason not to.

I was over exaggerating. But still, the old Harry Potter/Wizarding World stuff is worth keeping around, just not further monetary support or attention. I can still be allowed to make and sell wands, and enjoy the 8 movies.

That's fair, I just have always felt shunned if I enjoy it, while others reject it for good reason. I love the wizarding world but I feel like a bad person for it. I hate the author, too, she's awful for that. I compare her to one of her own characters, the best written villain in pink.

You can't un-enjoy something that you loved before knowing the ugly truth. What you *can* do, if your work/hobby is connected to that world, is use it to raise awareness about JK Rowling and transphobia!

There will always be people who don't know, help them start somewhere 🙂

You can enjoy something without promoting it / talking about it. What you do in your free time is between you and you (just don’t give her more money), but feeling shunned is nothing compared to what trans people feel and experience from the direct efforts of the author to erase them.
