to their credit, the act which beat was unreal, and since then they have performed a lot and do harmonise very well.

They have experience, they thankfully arent a group slapped together for this project

Yeah, I've slept on it, and I've watched some of their TikToks.

Pros:
They can sing really well
They have personality and charm

Cons:
I loathe Country music

I'm probably just licking my wounds because I'd really got my hopes up for the rumoured entry I'd previously been hinted at.

Excuse me butting in but tbh I'm not even sure they are taking a country song (if it is indeed them). Country just doesn't fit with the British music heritage thing. Somebody pointed out to me yesterday that they've said in an interview that they can do various styles but settled in country. ...

Perhaps they are taking this opportunity to branch into other genres?

Also, I mentioned this yesterday but BBC seem keen to have the song played in R1 these days, but country and R1 aren't really two things I put together.

I could ofc be wrong about all this, but it's given me pause for thought.
