Source Generators are awesome!

Wrote a few of them. A lot simpler than building Type Providers.

I thought source gens were C# version of type providers?

In the video, he talks about something similar to a "generative type provider". Strongly typed experience over the data that represented as Dictionary at runtime using some new extensions (probably this one https://github.com/dotnet/csharplang/blob/37191db246bce04e9c8053a2261edc113237f8aa/proposals/extensions.md)

I see. But what is stopping you from implementing that as a source gen today? Not an expert at either type providers or source gens

I also not expert of source generators, maybe it is just to hard to emit one string with valid source code

Typically C# used the hucklebuck stringly vomit method.
