Is it worth it to pay for Query Tracker? I've been using the free version, and it seems to work okayish, despite the UI being ancient looking. Are there any premium features that querying writers have found especially useful? #amquerying #writersky

I really like it!!! I feel like there’s so much more insight into who is offering on what, new agents, and submission/query reply times. It gives me the *illusion* of more control 🥲
I love QT premium. I had multiple projects I queried, so keeping those separate was important. I used the tagging system pretty extensively to organize myself. And the new restore answers feature seems AMAZING!
The restore answers feature is what I think will end up convincing me to join premium because I hate having to fill out the forms manually every time 😭 Out of curiosity, when you query multiple projects, do you ever query agents within the same agency, or how does that work?
There was definitely overlap, although I queried for different genres. I did a bit of simultaneous querying (or chaos querying, as I called it), so I had 2 different manuscripts going out at once. I never had 2 queries at an agency at the same time though. Waited to close 1 before sending the next!
I pay because it’s a good service, and I wanted the extended data. The restore answers feature came in during my sub and I didn’t realize it was a paid feature — it’s saved me a great deal of time, can’t imagine going without it now.
I honestly think the "restore answers" tool is worth it all by itself. I also rely heavily on the query timelines to predict when I'm going to get a response from each agent, because it lets you see when they're going through the batch you were in!
