I have always encountered people who say they are not political. We must find ways to show how politics affects their daily lives and how their participation is required. Community Independents has made in roads. Politics is 365 days not just at election time.

In some of the artist circles I am involved people shun the idea of political discussion, saying they just want to make or see pretty pictures, which I feel is daft as fk. Art is political imo.

I've found people who say they are "not political", usually come back at you with a very strong bias one way or the other. It's another "I'm not a racist but" kind of statement. I'm wary when I hear those words.
