It’s called hoarder worship. The more they hoard the more worth we give them. Anyone who has tens of millions of dollars (let alone hundreds of millions or billions) has a hoarding disease. Who would you need to accumulate more when you already have more than you can spend ? It’s insanity

I think it has to do with Darwin'sTheoryofEvolution being applied to money in the early 1900's. It was theorized that people with money were stronger, smarter, more spiritual etc. I think that is still what is behind people bowing down to rich people.
