I was fine until I got to college, then a month in europe on an extreme low budget got me my first 4 cavities, only a couple more since despite about 10 years of neglect in between times, I have a really good dentist now, about 20 miles away, clinging onto her for dear life ;)

yeah i had been putting it off for too long. never was a good time to set aside however long it would take for them to do root canals or whatever i just assumed id need. turns out i just needed a good cleaning so jokes on me. nice guy too, i actually found it relaxing!

yes, I think if you get the calcite removed regularly that'll stop any decay and reduce the possibility of gum (and heart) disease, I have worn the enamel off some teeth by brushing too hard but they've been ok for 10+ years, light pressure with electric toothbrush now seems to be keeping things ok
