If you really want to go all in, you can switch to Linux as your operating system, get a Linux PC from Tuxedo (Germany), and get a Gigaset phone (Germany), but this is probably not for most people.
I also recommend the FairPhone. You can use it completely free of Google.
The /e/OS operating system is a completely “de-Googled” version of Android based on open source technology. /e/OS is also compatible with all Android apps.
I don't know Gigaset, but Fairphone is a great alternative for smartphones. It's a Dutch company, though manufacturing a phone is of course an international project. I've been a happy user for years.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new smartphone. :)
Thank you, wonderful list. I would generally suggest to look locally. A lot of good service providers for many needs in all European countries. I would also raise a glass to wonderful European network device manufacturers, https://teltonika-networks.com/ and https://mikrotik.com/
I use it and have no problem with the speed. I prefer safety for my data and I am very pleased with it. I use the Unlimited plan and get calendar, VPN, mail and cloud services in one package. The free one did not have space enough for all my gmail data. Recommend the Unlimited plan 👍
