Let it go. There are plenty of priorities before rejoining the EU. Chucking that into the mis now will just embolden Reform and make Labours job more difficult.

And "allowed to remain" is irrelevant for countries that are already IN. I don't know if the Treaties provide for expulsion, but if they do it wouldn't be simple!

So you get round that by including inany rejoin agreement, strict standards on the democratic requirements for any 'Brexit 2.0' decision, - so 2/3rds majority, followed by a confirmatory referendum on any brexit 2 deal, as a minimum.
