Hahaha we will see. To be honest, I’ve found with the sims 4 it’s usually the packs that I’m not interested in (supernaturals) that are well made and the ones I expect usually fall short because I guess I expect too much lol

All the packs they've done relatively well have been for things I'm just not interested in gameplay wise. Everyone holds Cottage Living up as the GOAT, but I hate farming and taking care of animals, so it's nowhere on my favorite list. I'll hope in vain they do this one right 🙃

what interests me, is that this theme is so universal that the world might be very exciting.
I really hope they don't go the easy way and do an american world, but finally do something from the un-repped continents, Africa, Australia and South America

That's what I'm thinking too, I don't want another Plopsy/Trendi/etc, I'm crossing my fingers they take the retail system from GTW and revamp it, but that might be wishful thinking and it'll be a selling table or something like that. I'm also hoping for some more specific hobby traits + some from S3

In hoping for sims to have actual talents and interests they can develop - sort of like the sims 2. Including their “one true hobby” ie something they’re born to do. I also hope hobbies are not just skills, but broader…

I just hate that we have so many conflicting/overlapping features. Like lifestyle traits and lifestyles (abandoned feature from snowy escape). Or hobby traits and likes and dislikes (and potentially future EP hobbies). I wish they would take a deep look at all these systems and made sense of them

100% agreed... i really like to use lifestyles in the concept of "habits", more than traits, but that's because I've tried to make sense of them. in reality, they're just a new category for the same thing.

Tbh I hope the business part means we get home business and service businesses (or paying a fee to enter an area like in ts2 - for museums, clubs etc) and also purchase community lots.

I'm thinking they may overhaul the in game financial system entirely- including running businesses- which would be great. A full banking individualized system and transfers of $$$. Hobbies that are possible to monetize. Maybe even multi-function lots.

I hope for at home shops and services kind of stores rather than selling items. We have so many options on how to sell items.But running our own hair stylist,club,daycare,giving lessons on skills etc. might be interesting. They should give so much different options than gtw to differentiate them imo

Yess! Definitely intrigues about the business part and hoping it relates to services and owning community lots too (eg owning and managing the blue velvet would be so cool)
