Day 3 of Diamond being stuck to me like glue, he tried to remove her to change my bedding & clean our bedroom. She scratched him up. 😭💔 Lord have mercy. 🥺❤️

Awe, poor David, it's tuff when your person recovering from surgery. I'm sure he's glad he can, take of you at home.
My aunt had to spend 10 weeks in a nursing home b/c her husband just wasn't able to care for her physically.
He has to run our Airbnb, run up & down 2 floor stairs for me, basement stairs for laundry, cook, clean up kitchen & take care of the 2 cats. He also has to bathe me. 😭💔
Keep petting her while she lays beside you. It will help to bring on those good hormones. That will help with reducing your pain, keeping your spirits up and helping you get good sleep. Thank God for cats! God bless you, reduce your pain and speed your healing. 🙏🏽🫶🏽🩵🌻
I can't pet her all the time cause I'm sleep half the time, but between her loud purring & making biscuits, we both snug as a bug in a rug. Constant companions. 🥹❤️ Sunny 👇🏾🥰
Awwww… purring and kneading works just as well. She is being a very good nurse. What would we do without our pets? Praying that you feel better soon.🙏🏽
Each day I am showing a little improvement. I'm still not out of the woods yet. This is only day 3. They say the 1st 3-4 days are the worst. I have to ice packs, 20 minutes every hours to keep fever & swelling down.
Sunny it says it in the paperwork. Some swelling & temperature afterwards. Just not after 3 or 4 days. Plus I already called my surgeon. 😂❤️ the swelling in my foot is gone & I do icepacks constantly because it helps freeze the pain. Same with my shoulder surgery. I was married to the ice pack. 🤣😭😘
