Today, one should avoid it like the plague.
They're much more flexible in the way you manage the devices.
Ubnts quality, especially on the software side of things has gone down significantly; Faulty firmwares, poorly designed controller with constant half baked features etc etc.
The https://AudioClassify.com embedded Linux product supports high quality I2S mics or browser accessible mics.
All the surrounding application code is my custom C, C++, NodeJS, and JavsScript.
The RPi family is very useful for real world applications, including many analytic AI functions.
