I'm definitely turning the Mormon blog I blog at into all-Sam-blogging-about-the-church's-policies-on-undocumented-immigrants-all-the-time. And this morning is no different. Here, some (probably inadvertent) effects of its new policy on the full participation of undocumented members.

They don't want bishops and ward members catching felonies for "human trafficking" undocumented members.
Which is wild, but genuinely makes me wonder if they know something we don't about what's coming down the pipeline.
Because up until now, overstaying visas, bribery, and document fraud has largely been an "it's fine if we do it" thing.
