Republicans on the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security announced the launch of an investigation into Catholic Charities USA and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to investigate whether they NGOs “used taxpayer dollars to facilitate illegal activity” by migrants.
