My Little League team was sponsored by a package store. Before that my minor league team was sponsored by an undertaker. We had black shirts. Not making this up.
One of my LL teams was sponsored by Beaverton Datsun. 30+ years later, I was president of the same LL and half the coaches didn't know what Datsun was.
