He was the EXACT OPPOSITE of the current ownership. Brought the team to Oakland from somewhere else, AND won 3 straight World Series.

At one time Finley owned a (horse?) farm you could see from Interstate 80 in western Indiana, and the roof of one barn had “Oakland A’s” painted on it
