Free speech is a cornerstone of science.

Scientists must be able to write the papers they want— and then the scientific community critiques that work, and consensus develops.
That requires free speech at every step. Not censorship from politicals.

This part is right on. The publication restrictions are new. Prev clearance processes were lightweight and **done by scientists**. At NIH, often scientific directors did that. 1/
