I’ve been writing a lot of raw emotion poems lately when I can’t get the feelings out with art. It’s been a peaceful new way to connect with myself and understand my own brain.
Maybe it will resonate with someone else too

That is the peace, & embrace I want.
The nurse said he didn't suffer- but he did, before they knocked him out.
He was cold, his chest was in pain, he was vomiting, hallucinating, and couldn't properly hear.
Nothing was dignified about that man's death.
And I want him back.
i've been starting to write song texts again after 2 years
(getting trauma out your system is good, no?)
not posting anything in public yet cuz i don't feel comfortable sharing stuff that personal with everyone rn
friends said it was good tho
so that was nice at least
This whole poem is like that feeling of insight you get when you see the non-separation of things. "kensho" is a good word for it, and it's beautiful to see it so openly here
