Perhaps the problem here is semantic. Maybe “induce” would be better than “pressure” or “ask”. I would think it’s in the best interests of Canadians and their gov’t to distance themselves not just from tfg and American products/travel, but also from any country tfg cozies up to. Just a thought.
Sorry, I wasn’t clearer in my post. I don’t know if Meidas Touch can bring Canadian politician on to their podcast to discuss - but thru have in the past. I merely wanted them to discuss this as a topic in the near future when they meet with/have a discussion with any Canadian politicians. Sorry
When we are talking about economically pressuring Canada to stop using El Salvadorian manufacturers, on behalf of American politics because of what the American and El Salvadorian governments are doing, that is pressuring Canada to do something on behalf of the US. We are in no position to do that.
I didn’t read any of this as pressuring Canada. I thought it was just about pressuring the company that gives money to El Salvador, which is running a concentration camp.
There’s a whole lot of missing the point here. I highly suggest American folks go read some of the commentary on r/onguardforthee to see how Canadians feel about what is in their best interests right now.
I'm here to inform you. Canadians are in utter shock over what you have elected.
He is scum.
We will not be visiting or buying anything manufactured in the US.
The only folks who can put a stop to the pos president are you guys.
We are really nice people. We can hold a grudge. 1/
I think it's perfectly OK to warn them how much of a Magat Poilievre is, including the lying & deceptionso they aren't fooled, & to explain why Carney is better choice for standing up to Trump, saving their sovereignty, both from our intimatr knowledge of Trump
