Sadly, Pierce Morgan joined in and threw an insult of his own at Sean by calling a scientifically clear answer by Sean "pompous" (a projection is you ask me), while he tried to pin Sean into a corner while coming from a rigidly biased point of view.

Sean Carroll looks in control, civil, patient, respectful and on point. He is not condescending to the audience, he is not posturing, he is not talking from a victim position, not painting an imaginary establishment that is blocking an unappreciated genius.

Some of these things are basic. If you know you're right, Dr. Weinstein, why are you yelling and resorting to insults? Why not debate the content on the pages of journals?

For what it's worth, I'm biased. I am a fan for Sean Carroll and grateful to him for his selfless and patient teaching of physics. No, it's not income or fame driven. Give me a break. He has enough of both. He shares his knowledge with teh rest of us and he is just a good teacher.

Not everyone can have the depth of knowledge and an ability to explain it, he can, he is a great professor. Okay, disagree with him on Many Worlds if you must - fine, he is open to other alternatives. But going at him with insults is just ... desperate.
