No, I disagree. the two wars are very different and people have the right to view them differently. Every opposition to terror must be taken seriously in its own right.

Support Ukranian rights and Palestinian rights instead. Zelensky is obviously a deeply flawed leader but that doesn't diminish the rights of his people.

I agree. But, he represents the Ukraine in an alliance with the very same forces that are committing genocide and who have bombed the Middle East to the dark ages, not to mention their role in coups and the destruction of the global south. They're all monsters.

Yeah, I agree, though on the bright(?) side, Trump bashing the EU relentlessly (Zelensky humiliation is but the most obvious example), is going to force the EU to not be an American imperial lackey anymore.

I don't see how the bloc won't be a humbled minorish power soon enough.

I don't know just how much the 'lackey' tag fits. The same European powers initiated & maintained the very same colonies that created the dictatorships that the US has supported for decades. It's a white colonial supremacy game that demands subjugation of the orient. The US has just broken away.

And I don't mean that they've become a just nation. Trump is an instinctual dictator who will do anything for power. Putin is cut from the same cloth. I'm just reluctant to side with any actor who feels that committing a genocide is a strategic way to achieve their goals. Gaza defines the West.

Oh yeah they're the original villains, but after WWII the US used it's moment of being the only non destroyed industrial power to establish dominance and what would become the EU became completely dependent on the US for protection and US economic dominance to continue exploiting the colonized world

Agree. Both calamities matter, for all involved. On top of the atrocities, agent provocateurs (e.g. from the Kremlin) stir civil strife in our democracies around such horrors, setting progressives against each other, as individuals are radicalised into one faction or another. Let's be alert to this.

I support Palestinian independence (but not Hamas). I abhor Israel. But I can't devote as much time online to one as to the other (I did, for a time, and it was exhausting), so I focus on my backyard.

People reveal deep racism and hatred in both directions. ALL borders cannot be impacted by aggression, ALL people should be free from oppression, deportation, etc. Extremism in all directions cannot be tolerated.
