People are now killing over 100 million sharks every single year globally.

If we *wanted* to collapse the biosphere, we couldn't be doing a better job.

The annihilation of great white sharks has led to an increase in seals, etc, and an associated decline in the fish that those species feed on, illustrating the ripple effect of losing a top predator.

When will we learn?

Ecosystems just don't work without top predators.
