Visually stunning. The bank certainly had the decorators in after the last two times it was hit. I must say they did an excellent job.
I would happily pay for remakes like this for Big Bank and Golden Grin in the future. Nothing is more Payday to me than these big flashy set piece heists.
Three major complaints:
A) Objectives really need at least some kind of visual makeover to feel more unique for the heist and be tweaked to be more accessible - i.e being able to just grab the thermite at the start & being able blow up/drill the QR code Server Room in Loud.
B) The escape sequence feels underwhelming. The few traps that are..supposed to exist don't function due to spawn caps - it's wild that Diesel had this handled better a decade ago. We need it spiced up and be a much more tense experience.
C) The spawn caps need to scale with players, badly. Solo Overkill? Amazing challenge, up there with some of the hardest. 4 player competent team? It feels a bit like a joke comparatively.
Overall, probably the best heist in PAYDAY 3, but ultimately it still feels a bit "soulless" due to feeling like an objective remix like Diamond District and while that worked fine for that heist, being a free-flow FS type of thing, for a setpiece heavy heist like FWB it doesn't.
I'll also say, you should still add Overdrill, in some capacity. I don't see why it'd be that complicated and give us a challenge for more long term gameplay that PD3 lacks rn.
We need to sauce this heist up some more, it's almost, almost perfect.
