Why do they make Charlie's whole goal be "let sinners go to Heaven", and treat people who disagree with her as close-minded and dumb, but ALSO paint Heaven as this morally-dubious-at-best faction populated by either idiots or sociopaths. Is there a reason for this.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the eventual goal of the show is to reform both Heaven and Hell. Emily is deffo gonna be important
It's that these ideas inherently clash, going to Heaven can't be good if Heaven is bad
