Celery at the stores has been pale and rough looking....like tasteless.
Start this then move to shelf in tent but when prepping I separate seeds and reusables so as not to waste or forget or put off

A packet of seeds is much cheaper and produces more. But most people in this country don't have anywhere to grow a garden, or to raise chickens etc.

Yes a packet of seeds is much cheaper. I just don’t want people to be discouraged because they haven’t started tomato/pepper plants yet. I understand that a lot of people don’t have yards, but maybe people can work with the city or their apartment complex to create community gardens.

I encourage people to grow something even if it's just Herbs on the Windowsill and Tomatoes & Peppers on a Balcony. There is never enough Community Garden space in our Cities and even less where population is the densest.

It would also be good to focus on high calorie, nutrient dense veggies that don't take up a lot of space - potatoes + sweet potatoes for example. They can be grown in grow bags on a patio or balcony. Companion planting with things that don't take up a lot of room + grow fast - radishes, spinach etc.

It seems like we are going to have to figure out some innovative ways to give some relief to people in our cities in the coming years. Just imagine if everyone who did have a suburban yard, converted even just part of their yard to a garden. We could bring down prices by lowering demand.

Garden space has been deliberately eliminated in Urban Areas for many decades. Part of the same scheme that Bankrupts our Farmers & transfers our Farmland to Foreign Corporate 'Agriculture'!
