THIS. I’m sick of being forced into fawning behaviors or silence because of HCWs that have disdain for patients. Lack of knowledge, compassion, or respect for disabled patients is also common.

Disdain for patients should be entirely unacceptable, even if someone is being difficult.
But instead it seems like many HCW have disdain towards patients by default and then make up excuses to justify it if the patient is trying to be nice. Rotten culture
