Could be argued that this is being productive as no one wants anywhere to be a shit place in their frame of mind and therefore moving to elsewhere where you can promote and surround yourself with that notion is productive for the better of humans as a whole.

I agree that if a person doesn't like an environment they would do well to change it.

That being said, it's not clear to me that the behaviour that led to X becoming "a shit place" is not being repeated here, albeit on the opposite political end.

Definitely not, it all depends on the stance the platform take and therefor inherently the moral compass of the founders of BlueSky and to be honest it’s not difficult to have better morals than Elon Musk.
