Because they are notoriously bad. I love an underdog.
Honestly it started in childhood when I knew bc lions were not fun for me to watch. And when I cheer for the lions people around me never question it.

I respect that! Similar reason to why I’m a Packers fan.
Saw them on tv once as a kid and they have similar colours to the Edmonton Eskimos…..so I am now a Packers fan!! 🤪
