My husband and I are both gamers. I understand the people in this comment section that are basically like "who cares," but we, and I'm sure many other people, were excited for this. It's OK to be disappointed when he ruins our simple pleasures along with literally everything else.

There’s not a single thing that won’t be negatively impacted by this relentless stupidity. It hurts all of us. Whether it is something as major as your livelihood, or the thing which gives you some joy or fun. We are all being punished. And you’re right, it SUCKS

Exactly I am upset and I wasn’t even buying at launch! For a lot of us gaming is an escape and yes it technically still is a luxury. But it’s one that can soothe and even have cultural impact. It’s become an integral part of our lives for many of us. I would have less friends without gaming.
