People have no idea how damaging this is to medical advancements, patients, devices, universities, labs, research & institutions, their employees etc. What a horrible setback. It is past time for science and medical professionals nationwide to take a united stand and make some trouble.

if you pay attention the last 20 years, a LARGE swath of practitioners have LEFT America or left their practices, which is WHY of the thousands of health plans, MANY dont even HAVE a specialist you can SEE in your region that youre Paying coverage to see. ADD that to the WTF of it all

Yep! And in Texas (I imagine other red states, as well) I’ve heard that students wanting to become OB/GYNS are now opting to attend medical schools in other states because ours omit weeks of education surrounding D&C healthcare.

Fortunately, the rest of the World is moving forward with research. Some incredibly promising cures (yep cures) for T1D are currently being trialed in Sweden and China. There will be a massive brain drain from the US to the EU over the next few years. Many labs do not require language fluency. 🙌🏼

I’m very sorry too. Grew up seeing him inject himself every day. He took care of his diabetes but his kidney gave up in his 30’s. Tried a double transplant but died 2 months later.
