Respectfully, that would take years and all Provinces and Territories to agree. Then, you would have to set up something new and base it how, like the U.S.? No thank you.

Of course it would take time but it would be well worth it to move into the 21st century. The US is not the only model. Why can’t we elect the “head of state”. Or a Chancellor and a President? We should have a referendum about it. We should be talking more about.
To me, there isn’t a lot of stable models of democratic governments to model after. The U.S. was once held up as a good example, with checks and balances, but look how it’s collapsing. The type we have works and is stable.
