It's really hard to suss out the bridge section because the only pics we have of it are extremely low resolution. In the recent auction pictures it's broken off. Though you do get an idea of how it attached, probably with two tubes which I'm recreating.

@mikeokuda.bsky.social do you know of (of have) any higher resolution pics of the Valiant with its nogging still on? And also any of the warp engines it has in the Chronology? I know those were the same ones that were on the Cochrane ship.

Each nacelle was wrapped with one or two plastic hair curlers. I don't recall what the core of the nacelles were made from. Maybe a cigar tube? The pylons were made from square cross-section brass tubing.

That's amazing! I can see the hair curlers now for sure. How does this look? I'm trying my best to makeout details where I can.
