They've already revealed in the past that 'Hulu with ads' bring more revenue per user than ad free Hulu. This was before Disney acquired majority in Hulu but ig it's still true considering Disney's pull with big advertisers. (2/2)

The only reason they discount the 'with ads' subscriptions is because they can make that money back by showing you ads. They want everyone to watch those ads. All these streamers only offer the no ads option because they don't want to lose the people who want an ad-free experience. (1/2)
