i didn't like it actually. Flagg is a rough 38 but has the 20-something year old princess lusting over him, and he's a direct stand in for James Gun? James Gunn is even in the opening credits? also wait, this is the first "canon" movie in the new DC universe but they make reference to Suicide Squad?

He did say a while ago that certain story elements would be brought in. So some things occured in this universe also but most things didn't. So I believe Peacemaker also occurred except for that final scene with the JL

Anything mentioned from The Suicide Squad will become canon, but not everything from that movie will be transferred to the new universe. Everything from Peacemaker is canon except Justice League cameo.
