Nodding.. because what’s on the page doesn’t always work on the screen..

Look at how much Peter Jackson was faithful to Tolkien’s books but he still had to tweak details to make it work.

Peter Jackson is a rarity. Look at Wicked - completely different from the book in areas that really could have worked on screen / stage as well. But movies are hard - it’s better to do a TV series bc they can keep more details of the book IMHO
