Flexon was the first brand. They had a patent that has expired. There are a few more brands now. Definitely a game changer. Just hope they fit well as they are almost impossible to adjust if they don't fit as is. Titanium is a memory metal.

Yes, the fitting is very important.
Very smart optician. I worked in optics for 35years. Cheap frames are just very cheaply made, using inferior metal and solders. Solder joints are the weakest part of the frame. It pays in the long run for a quality frame and their warranties are good.
