These are my scripts to cycle select objects in the #Cinema4D viewport by hierarchy

I assigned them to the following shortcuts

SelectParent: Alt+Up
SelectChild: Alt+Down
SelectNext: Alt+Right
SelectPrevious: Alt+Left
