Oh, I think that could have been one of my scouts. Spiders are the best in finding rare books you see. No one notices them in libraries. Thank you for not squishing them!

Haha, awww...I do believe the spider might have been fresh out of shedding, they seemed a tad confused and needed a while to get stable...No interesting books in my car, though, I'm afraid...

We've found them hiding on top of the sun visors before, a nice cozy spot. Then when the car starts up, they attempt to run. lol

That's about the only spot I can imagine as its hiding place. It seemed so disoriented and looked somewhat weird at first, which makes me guess that maybe it was fresh out of shedding

It was weird because it's cold, so all the windows and everything were closed. And the spider seemed disoriented. I wonder if it had just...shed freshly and fell down from wherever it had hidden away to do that...I kept driving for a while before reaching my office where I could set it free.

I would have possibly ended up in a ditch. Arachnophobia is very real for me, and a close, surprise encounter in a very enclosed space would not have ended well. Worse if it actually landed ON me, however. I might have vacated a moving vehicle.

Gee! Well, if it had landed ON me, I don't know what would have happened, but then again, that would be the case with anything startling me like that. But yes, that's definitely not a joke then. On the other hand, the little critter was more scared than I could've been.

Well, thanks for helping her to a better life. I'm always helping spiders relocate to outdoors. Except for the house spiders who get a trip to various corners of the basement.

Hahaha, that's funny, banishing them to the basement...I usually put any spiders outside, and this one was kinda cute, even, although we were both a bit startled and confused. Not sure if it's really a better life out there, but at least one with a valid chance, unlike if it had stayed in the car.
