This is Blizzard, my last adrenal boy.

Got him via the local pet store. Someone had left him outside, in a box, during severe winter weather.

Hence the name.

But he was a spry fella, the carrier he's on top of was sitting on top of one of the double ferret nation cages in my ferret room.

Also, adrenal disease? I used to do ferret rescue, and I've been through dealing with that many times.

They knew me at the vet's office.

Yes cowboy has severe adrenal disease and got a deslorelin implant in March, but it's so progressed by the time I got him his fur likely won't grow back! He also has prostate issues associated with it.

Most ferrets I ever had, was 46.

I'd go in the ferret room, open cage doors, and rattle the treat bag or squeak a toy. They'd come swarming out.

Always thought it was fun when they all got to playing, and it'd be a mass weasel war dance.

I only have four now, and two are rescues.

Also that's super cool, I run a rescue currently and work at an exotic vet clinic, ferrets are my whole thing!
