Imho we stopped the intensity of the press. They couldn’t live with it in the first half at all and we kept winning it back in dangerous areas. In the second half we stepped off it entirely, was it tiredness or tactical? Either way it cost us

Yes, we were the better team the first half. To bad that Solanke didn’t finished off that chance. Also weak by Taylor to not send of Caicedo. They had the better second half, but we gifted some as well.

Both of the penalties were purely unnecessary. Chelsea created very little threat to our goal realistically, but somehow we end up conceding four anyways. This should have been a draw at minimum, I’m way more worried about the performances against Bournemouth, Ipswich and such.

Kulusevski’s elbow was far more deserving of a red card than that tackle from Caicedo was though. I do understand that those have been given as reds quite frequently, but I thought Caicedo should have got a yellow and no red was fair. Would have definitely been a different game if he was sent off
