Conservatives hate all things like this because you're finding worth in yourself. They want a world where one's worth is derived from the status of your family or your place in the community. Individualism disgusts them because equality is everyone being the same, but with some being better examples
I welcome the opportunity to view the human experience through your different lens. Before we are black, white, male, female, genderqueer, intersex, old, young, rich or poor… We are human. For me it is first that spirit vibe—that kinship connection—that makes everything else manageable.
Lol, my barber is gay, and he's been my barber since I was like 13. When I first met him, I was like, What do you want me to call you, sir? or ma'am? I legit didn't know. I was like I have to know now because once a guy finds a good barber, it's for life.
Because thats what it means to be a good ally, we trans folks especially have to defend and justify our existance, to correct the misinfo or despell the lies, or they take root in the form of bigotry and legislation we are seeing.
