i don't know how to do flatcolor stuff anymore. everything needs a bit of shading a lighting to pop or i won't like it. I'm gonna have to just up my prices and make everything shaded

Same. I've always added highlights to my "flat color" art cause otherwise it just looks boring and unfinished, but now I keep adding little bits of shading too
