Remembering Jack Vettriano who sadly died at the weekend.
Born Jack Hoggan in Fife, Scotland in 1951. He grew up in extreme poverty. He left school at 16 to become an apprentice mining engineer. On his 21st birthday he was given a set of watercolour paints & taught himself to paint.
